Hello! My name is Zalak and I’m a UX and UI designer based in Seattle, WA. Being a creative person at heart, I have always been into designing visually and functionally appealing solutions while solving the core problems at heart.

Back in the past, I started my career as an Interior Designer in Gujarat, India where I put my design skills into building people’s houses.

As a tenacious and persistent learner and an outstanding team player with excellent organizational and project management skills, I bring a similar passion and holistic approach from working 8 years as an interior designer with the last 6 containing elements of sales to UX and UI research and design now. As an empathetic problem solver, I was immediately fascinated by the possibilities that the internet and technology could have on a large audience which triggered my transition from Interior designer to UX Designer.

When I am not designing interiors of the house or websites or mobile apps, I enjoy reading, singing, playing harmonium, painting, and outdoor activities, like hiking and camping.
